Abstract

This research deals with one of the important issues of the Arabian cultural and cognitive identity which isassociated with rhetoric and criticism,namely the impact of Arabs on Persians in rhetoric and criticism at a particularly crucial time in contemporarycontext, where history is needed in terms of biographies, chronicles, and tales.

By using the historical method, the researcher presents, in the introduction, a general overview ofsome of the features of the Arabian rhetorical and critical influence on the Persian scene in language and literature. Then,he moves on to tackle rhetoric and criticism in particular, in the first and second section, which are the core of the research. The third and final sections shed light on the reception of this phenomenon in the literature of contemporary criticism and on its different readings.
