The study adopted a quasi-experimental approach, and the research tools included a questionnaire for assessing electronic mind mapping skills for education students, and a program based on digital content in Google Classroom to develop electronic mind mapping skills for education students, prepared by the researcher. The sample consisted of 40 first-year bachelor's degree students from the College of Education at Al-Baha University, who were intentionally selected and whose ages ranged between 18-19 years. They were divided into two groups: an experimental group (n=20 students) and a control group (n=20 students). The results showed statistically significant differences at the 0.001 level between the mean rank scores of the control and experimental groups in the post-measurement of the electronic mind mapping skills assessment questionnaire in favor of the experimental group. Additionally, there were statistically significant differences at the 0.001 level between the mean rank scores of the experimental group members in the pre- and post-measurement for the total score of the questionnaire, in favor of the post-measurement. However, there were no statistically significant differences between the mean rank scores of the experimental group members in the post-measurement and the follow-up measurement of the questionnaire
The study aimed to measure the effectiveness of using John Zoharyk's model in imparting and retaining historical inquiry skills among second-year intermediate students in the subject of social studies. To achieve the objectives of study, the researcher employed a quasi-experimental method (two-group design). The sample consisted of 52 students from the second-year intermediate level, divided into two groups: Experimental group, consisting of 26 students, who study using John Zoharyk's model, and control group, consisting of 26 students, who study according to the conventional method. A test was administered to measure historical inquiry skills both pre-test and post-test, as well as a delayed post-test, to both the experimental and control groups. The study found that, there were statistically significant differences between the control and experimental groups in the post-test measurement of historical inquiry skills in the social studies subject, in favor of the experimental group. Additionally, there were statistically significant differences at the 0.05 level between the control and experimental groups in the delayed post-test measurement of historical inquiry skills in the social studies course, also in favor of the experimental group. Furthermore, there was a positive and statistically significant correlation between students' scores in both the post-test and delayed post-test measurements of historical inquiry skills.

Keywords: The Constructivist Model - Investigative Skills - History
2025-07-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Educational Sciencehttps://imamjournals.org/index.php/joes/article/view/3245Savant skills in individuals with autism spectrum disorder from the point of view of parents and teachers2024-05-19T07:17:41+00:00mohamed mahmoudmemohamoud@imamu.edu.sa
The current research aims to identify parents’ and teachers’ perceptions of Savant skills for individuals with autism spectrum disorder. The sample consists of a group of parents (53) and a group of teachers (41) at integration schools and classes in Riyadh. The researcher has prepared a questionnaire for the purpose of collecting information. The results indicate weak awareness for all members of the sample (parents and teachers) regarding Savant skills. However, there are statistically significant differences between parents and teachers. It is noticed that the teachers had more awareness of Savant skills for the individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
2025-07-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Educational Sciencehttps://imamjournals.org/index.php/joes/article/view/3323A proposed vision for activating financial sustainability in emerging Saudi universities in light of the new university system (Bisha University as a model)2024-07-07T11:17:37+00:00فاطمة العامريfofo9959@gmail.com
Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the reality of achieving financial sustainability in the rationalization and investment fields in the light of the new university system at the University of Bisha from the point of view of faculty members and their assistants . And to identify the existence of statistically significant differences between the averages of the study sample responses about the reality of achieving financial sustainability in the rationalization and investment fields due to (gender - academic rank ), and to develop a proposed vision for developing financial sustainability at the University of Bisha in the light of the new university system. The study used the descriptive approach, and used the questionnaire as its tool, and its sample consisted of (285) faculty members and their assistants at the University of Bisha. The study reached a set of results, including The achievement of financial sustainability in the field of rationalization came with a (moderate) degree, and that achieving financial sustainability in the investment field came with a (low) degree. There are differences between the averages of the study sample responses at the level of significance (0.05) due to the variable (sex) in favor of females, there are no statistically significant differences between the average responses of the study sample at the level of significance (0.05) due to the two variables (academic rank - type of college). The study also provided a vision for the development of financial sustainability at the University of Bisha in the light of its results. The study recommended taking measures and applying more effective methods within the university to improve the level of practices in the rational field of financial sustainability within the university.

Keywords: A proposed vision - Financial sustainability - Emerging Saudi universities - New university system - Bisha University.
2025-07-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Educational Science
