This research aims to study the article: “In The Eye of The Storm” by Ghazi Al-Qusaibi, which he wrote during the Gulf crisis (1990) when Iraq invaded Kuwait, and this attack affected its neighbors, including (Saudi Arabia).
This study adopts the pragmatics approach, which focuses on, the study of discourse, the relations between the speaker and the addressee, and language analysis in these articles, represented in the debate, verbs of speech, indicative aids.
To express the strategy of the discourse of (Algosaibi) in his articles, and how to address the recipient: convincing, motivating, and influential.
