Abstract

The importance of this study is due to its attempt to re-read Osama bin Munqeth’s book of consideration; through a contemporary vision. Focusing on the art of the autobiography in the book.  Proceeding from the premise of misleading the language in it to the recipient and deceiving him that it is smooth to the point of being superficial. However, the research on the author’s personality code proves otherwise. Therefore, the study chose the most prominent technical mechanisms through which the texts of the biography worked. They are three axes: the addressing device, which is represented in two functions, one interpretative and the other designative, and the description discourse through its relationship to the narration and its parallel with the event and its rotation with the dialogue patterns and its use as a tool for pilgrims, as well as the linguistic dimension. And the manifestations of the "I" in the tripartite relationship between the author, the hero and the narrator through details, digressions and pronouns, and then their visions towards the vocabulary of the universe and life.
