The Impact of Al-Loghaia on Grammatical and Morphological
Rule Making: An Analytical Study
Abstract
The aim of the current research paper is to explore the impact of Al-loghaia (limited language) on the rule-making in grammar and morphology. The notion is significant because many grammarians mention grammatical and morphological forms accepted in Al-loghaia. Hence, I intend to collect, study and illustrate the reasons behind the rise of this notion. The study has shown that Al loghia or limited language, is tackled in a number of areas in grammar and morphology, the most important of which are: inflected and non-inflected words, Naskh of opening, the subject, consonants sequences, gemination, diminutive forms, exception articles, prepositions, the words ni’ma and bi’sa, accusatives, Jazm cases, alluding to numbers. Also one finds that Al-loghaia has been given other attributes such as: analogy, badness, faultiness, irregularity, exception, deviation, unconventionality, difference forms, and other terms recorded in the course of the current paper.
