Abstract

This research aims to highlight the differences in the poetic evidence between the four famous editions of Sibawayh's book (Paris—Boolaq—Haroon—Al-Bakka) and compare what is contained in them with some of its manuscripts, some of its text's commentaries, and poets' commentaries. The research is not limited to one field; it also studied several fields, including differences in words, letters, and the control of movements. The research included an introduction, three topics, and a conclusion. In the preface, some of the scholars' texts confirmed the change that occurred in the text of Sibawayh's book after the Alakhfash manuscript copy. Then, in the three topics, the evidence in which the differences were found was collected, and it was reached in (92) places. The research concluded with the most prominent results and some recommendations.
