Summary:
This research deals with manifestations of failure and its causes in modern digital literature experiences, which lasted for nearly twenty years. Although these Western models did not reach a convincing level from a technical point of view, the researcher reviewed some of them. Those interested expected that these experiments would contribute to attracting the recipient, and that they would add a modern form to literature that suits the digital reality. However, many of these experiments have not been successful until today, due to the delay of many of the technical methods used in these experiments from the accelerated digital reality, and because of the difference in the elite nature of literature. from other manifestations of life, and because its species and higher models are closely linked to the collective unconscious. Likewise, the theorists of that literature did not care about the aesthetic standards of literature in their digital models, especially since these standards are still acceptable to the taste of the recipient and influencing him, despite the fact that distractions and mental distractions for him pose a challenge to writers and critics in attracting him to traditional literature again. The efforts of writers in this literary field must continue, so that we can get out of the circle of repeated failures, by new means, while keeping pace with honest criticism of it, which combines technical skills with literary study, and does not rush to recommend what is produced until it is criticized and tested on the ground.
