Abstract

This is research that is actively trying to reveal a missing dictionary by study; which is the “Jami’ al-Lughah” by Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Jaafar Al-Qazzaz Al-Qayrawani (died in 412), that did not have an efficient share of study. So, I gathered its material from what I came across from the sources that transmitted this book. So, I studied the title of the book. I followed what was said about it and verified its title with the evidence that I collected. After revealing the reason for its composition, and its time. I discuss what the scholars showed, and conclude with my opinion, which I tend to. Then, I went to the lexical industry of Al-Qazzaz in “Al Jami’. I started by studying the sources from which he drew his lexical blog, and rhyming it by studying the internal and external arrangement of the book.
