The poems of Salah Abd al-Sabour were distinguished by the sharpness of the discussion, with a commitment to avoid direct treatment of the subject. In order to add a kind of privacy to his artistic style, and since the discussion was about the poem " Shanq Zahran ", the poet published the poem in Al-Hilal magazine without introductions to the incident, but researching the dramatic sense of the poem reveals that painful incident that affected the hearts of the Egyptian people at the time. Therefore, the research analyzed the elements of the dramatic sense in the poem as a method followed, in order to reveal the elements of drama in it, and compared the artistic / dramatic results of Salah Abdel Sabour in the Shanq Zahran, with the analysis of drama in two poems that dealt with the same subject, one of which was written by Hafez Ibrahim under the title (The Danshway Incident) and was published In his collection and the other by Ahmad Shawqi under the title (Memory of Denshway) and published in Al-Shawqiyyat, there was continuity between Shawqi’s and Ibrahim’s poems in some elements of dramatic analysis, and Abdel-Sabour’s poem (Shanq Zahran) was distinguished by its distinctive dramatic sense, and when many poets wrote about that incident (Denshway incident) Dramatic links did not appear through the icon between the poets who chose that incident as a dramatic subject through their poetic texts aimed at presenting a drama that reflects the reality of a period, but it emerged between Salah Abdel Sabour, Hafez Ibrahim and Ahmed Shawky through the use of (the dove) as an icon It differs from one poet to another according to the dramatic structure that he relied on in his poem, and the study concluded that the artistic variations in the poem " Shanq Zahran" reflected a drama that took place at a specific time, and revealed a drama occurring in the poet's soul when dealing with the consequences of that incident and its results. After a period of time has passed.
