Abstract

Abstract:

This is a paper on masculinity and femininity, written by Abu al-Qasim al-Bari’ al-Zawzani, one of the writers of the Ministry’s Diwan in the fifth century AH. He made it in two chapters, one of which is for masculinity. He documented seventy-five words used for the masculine at the end of which is the feminine ta’, and the other chapter is for the feminine. He documented one hundred and six words for the feminine. They are all devoid of the feminine  sign, and the masculine and feminine words are arranged in chapters in the same manner as the letters of the dictionary, according to the last letter.

I wrote it on a single manuscript, which I presented to her with a study of Al-Bari’ Al-Zawzani, his life and biography, and the paper and the author’s approach to it.
