This research seeks to study women in the poetry of the Saudi poet Dr. Fawaz Al-Laaboun, the play between symbol and reality; symbol represents an important tool of text analysis, and the poet deliberately used women as fans between her presence symbol at times, and reality at other times expressing his opinions and perceptions in the poems of his poetry collection, and the research in his approach is based on the modern semiotics in its research It is based on extrapolating texts, exploring them, analyzing symbols, and deciphering them, as far as possible, to reach the poet's vision and experience.

The first section was divided into two demands; the first dealt with women as a negative symbol, while the second dealt with women as a positive symbol, while the second demand dealt with women on the truth, and this influenced the formation of the poet's poetic text and extrapolating his positions and opinions by trying to read poems indicative of the symbol in the poetic collection "Qadamis".
