Discourse of the Two in Abbasid Poetry Between Followership and Innovation
Summary of the research:
The attention of the Abbasid poets to their style in the structure of the text exceeded that of all the poets who preceded them, so a strong desire appeared among them to create innovative poetic styles that elevate their status and prove their competence in genius and distinction.
In light of this development and renewal, the researcher will undertake a serious reading of a stylistic feature embodied in the speech of the two.
It has become clear in Abbasid poetry, and is linked to pre-Islamic poetry, in a close relationship whose importance increases when it is a relationship based on connection and separation at the same time. Here the paradox emerges when the Abbasid poet made his position one of discontinuity in exchange for an approach to pre-Islamic poetry, and this is clear evidence of his desire to isolate himself and prove the poetic ability to shift away from the consistency system.
To achieve the objectives of the study, it has become necessary to point out that the researcher followed the principle of selection in poetic examples, as they are steadfast and anxious texts, and are more present in the Abbasid poem.
In order for the researcher to clarify this radiant stylistic characteristic in the fabric of Abbasid poetry, which gave it a unique taste and artistic skill that only a capable or artist possesses. It became necessary for him to divide the research into several sections centered on a threshold and two axes:
1- Rooting the discourse of the two in ancient poetry until the end of the Umayyad era.
2- Transformations of the discourse of the two in Abbasid poetry.
