Abstract

This study first aims at collecting Abi Abbaas Al-Mubarrid's opposing opinions on  Seibaweih; which have not been mentioned by Ibin Wallaad in the book of "al intiSaar li seibaweihi Ala al mubarrid".Then, this study aims at providing fully unbiased detailed discussions and analyses on these issues.

The procedures include searching for and finding out all of the related literature among all of the schools and scholars who dealt with these controversial issues taking into consideration those who agreed with Seibaweihi and Al-Mubarrid, or those who have opposing opinions.

Finally, the procedures include making unbiased arbitration and decisions in Accordance with the most precise and most commonly used rules in this matter, this study implemented the descriptive and the analytical approach through tracking all of the related references among all of the schools and scholars of grammar and linguistics who dealt with these controversial issues.  The researcher depended on their order in Seibaweih’s book (al kitaab) with a total number of twelve issues of discussion. The findings of the study proved that Al-Mubarrid's opposing opinions on  Seibaweihi were right on two issues.

The first one is the permissibility of describing “ allahum”  to be attributive, and the second one is the permissibility of giving first position to non-antecedent pronouns; on the other hand, the other nine issues were proved not to be issues of  opposing opinions discussions.
