The Reading of Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab Al-Makhzoumi: Compilation and Grammatical Study

Abstract

This research deals with the reading of Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab, and a study of the linguistic issues therein, in terms of phonology and structures and compositions, and the related difference in connotation. It was divided into an introduction, a preface, three topics, and a conclusion. In the introduction, I presented the importance of the topic, the reasons for selecting it, the literature review, and the detailed research plan and the methodology followed.

As for the preface, it introduced Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab, and in the first topic a list of the phonological issues in the reading of Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab was highlighted and studied, and the explanation of its impact on connotation. And in the second topic, a list of etymological and derivative issues was highlighted and studied with a discussion of its impact on difference in meanings and connotations. As for the third topic, it highlighted the grammatical issues.

At the end, a conclusion was mentioned, which contained the findings reached, the most significant of which include: that the reading of Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab is of connected chain to the Prophet - peace and blessing upon him- through two reciters among the most popular reciters of the companions, and that it is generally regarded among the odd readings that serve as authority in grammar.
