Phonetic Orientations in Al-Shatbiya Text: Reviewing and Studying

Abstract

This research tends to trace the phonetic issues in Al-Shatbiya text, which Al-Shatbi has theorized as one of the significant aspects of the rules of phonetic structure in the Arabic language, clarifying the origins of this orientation and the criteria that Al-Shatbi has adopted, comparing it to what is in Al-Taysīr for Abu Amr Al-Dani - if found - as a supplement or a commentary, reviewing the differences that appeared in the performance among the reciters, or guidance among the grammarians and the commentators of the poem, and the extent to which the linguistic difference is used to support and establish the Quranic recitation.The researcher does not miss pointing out the breadth of the linguistic research with Al-Shatbi, especially in the phonetic study by referring to the reliable linguistic sources, with a presentation of the patterns of guidance in Al-Shatbiya.
