Abstract

The imperative mood is one of the speech patterns that is characterized by force and eloquence for its vitality and excitement that conform the varied and different human situations. A treatise is a subtle art that expresses the extent of civilized human communication, particularly after the far advancement of culture. One aspect of such culture advancement is represented in treatises: formal and informal that reflected the development of our life styles. The caliphs’ treatises could be a good example in this regard.
