Abstract

This research aims to disseminate the article of the German orientalist, Wolf Dietrich Fischer, entitled Views about the Beginning of Arabic Grammar, because of its importance in the context of the influence of other languages, such as Greek, in particular, Syriac, etc, on Arabic. Fischer's study of the book MafaateeH Al-Uloom (Keys to Sciences) of Abu Abdullah Al-Khawaarizmi, who died in (387 AH), enriches research in this area. Fischer considers Al-Khaleel Ibn AHmad as the end of the vulnerable stage of Arabic Grammar, and Seebawayh as the beginning of a pure and free-of-influence Arabic stage.
