Abstract

Since the indications made by the ancient to hyperbole and exaggeration in meanings were chaotic and unsystematic, except those related to the common forms of exaggeration, this research work is intended to compile and bring to light what the researcher had found of the forms on which linguists and grammarians agreed that they encompass exaggeration and hyperbole. It consists of a set of forms of exaggeration in meaning that demonstrates the vastness and diversity of the Arabic language in disambiguating and preserving the true meaning of words.
