Jouban Al-Qawwas Poetry (000-around 680 Hijri) Collection, Edition, and Explanation of its Exotic

Abstract

Collecting the scattered production of what the ancient poets have said is of great value and importance, as it has pickings from any sources, followed by editing, revising, documenting, and then providing that to libraries. In this research, I have collected the poetry of Jouban Al-Qawwas (000-around 680 Hijri), and the total was (217) lines, some of which clearly belong to him . The rhymes were ordered alphabetically, every piece was attributed to its rhythmical pattern, differences of narration were explained with corrections made, and ending with the parts that need explanation. The study concludes with the texts that came with the modern metres, that were common at the era of states and emirates.
