The love of Allah for His Servants in the Sunnah An Objective Study

Abstract

The present research is within the perspective of the Prophetic Sunnah. It aims to collect the positive reasons for the love of Allah for his servants, who would receive His love and should work to attain it. In the introduction, the researcher introduces the love of Allah and its place among the Sunnis and Jama`a and their opponents. The paper is divided into three sections. In the first, the love of Allah for His servants and its signs: the section addresses the love of Allah  for His servants in the Quran and signs of Allah’s love for the servants. The second section illustrates the reasons which bring the love of Allah to his servants which relate to the acts of the person him/herself. Ten such reasons are mentioned. The third section illustrates the reasons for the love of Allah for His servants which relate to others persons, which come to thirteen reasons. The researcher has shown what is confirmed among the reasons and what is not. The paper ends with a conclusion mentioning the most important findings and some recommendations.
