The research aims to Define both surahs of The Unbelievers and sincerity, to show the subject of both surahs, the occasion of pairing their recitation in the supererogatory prayers, and to clarify the meanings of monotheism and its connotations through these two surahs.
The method observed in the research: the inductive and deductive method.
The research consists of a preface: Defining monotheism and its divisions, and Defining both surahs of The Unbelievers and sincerity, and two topics: The first one: the practical monotheism in Surah of The Unbelievers (Al-Kafirun). The second one: the Scientific monotheism in Surah of Sincerity (Al-Ikhlas).
Some results of the research: showing the appropriateness of pairing these two surahs in the recitation; The fact that they revolve around one topic, which is the monotheism of Allah Almighty, the importance of taking care of achieving monotheism and knowing its pillars and complements, and avoiding its nullifiers and spoilers, the significance of the two surahs of The Unbelievers and sincerity (Al-Kafirun and Al-Ikhlas) on the two pillars of monotheism ,contained in the word of monotheism (AL TAWHID), namely: negation and affirmation, where the negation was manifested in Surat Al-Kafirun, and the affirmation was manifested in Surat Al-Ikhlas, and their inclusion of the types of monotheism, scientific and practical, where the practical was manifested in Surat Al-Kafirun, and the scientific was manifested in Surat Al-Ikhlas, and that the most preponderant opinion of
both Surahs of Al-Kafirun and Al-Ikhlas is that they are Meccan surahs, and their subject is the determination of the doctrine of monotheism and devotion to Allah, the Blessed and Exalted.
