Abstract

This research contains an introduction، preface، two types of research، conclusion and indexes in the following order:

Introduction which contains: the importance of the research and the reason of choosing it، it limits، the order of writing in it and it’s plan، the preface includes the concept of the word (SARAFA) in the language and idiom، then two research، the first one: the forms of the word (SARAFA) in Holy Quran and its indications and there are seven contents in it and under each content a number of placement for the word in Holy Quran، in the first content: (SARAFA) in the past form، which came in ten places in the Holy Quran، the second content (YASREF) in the form of the present verb، and it came in six places in the Holy Quran، the third content: (ISREF) in the form of praying، and it came in two places in Holy Quran، the fourth content (YASREF) for the passive voice، and it came in five places in Holy Quran، the fifth content: (SARAFA) in the gerund form، and it came in three places in Holy Quran، the sixth content: (MASREFAN) came in the form of the place name in one place in Holy Quran، the seventh content: (MASROFAN) in the form of the objective pronoun، and it also came in one place in Holy Quran، and all of it has been studied in this research and categorised depending on its derivation and syntax، the second research: the meanings of (SARAFA) in the Holy Quran، and it has been categorised in contents depending on its meanings، the first content: explication and clarifying، and it came in eight places for the placement of (SARAFA) in the Holy Quran، the second content: prevention، such as prevent torment or obscene، and came in three places، the third content: stop warring the enemy، and it came in one place، the fourth content: refraining from believing، and it came in five places، the fifth content: a quick look about the disbelievers in their torment، and it came in one place، the sixth content: moving the wind and the rain and hail، and it came in five places، the seventh content: the sending of few jinns to listen to Quran، which came in one place، the conclusion، that most of the placements of SARAFA are related to doctrine subjects، and the recommendations which invites that the word of Quran must be cared of، and extracting its meanings and connecting its meanings with its roots، then an index for sources، and an index for subjects.
