Abstract

Subject of the Research: This research deals with the study of the positions in which the abnormal readings are mentioned, which were argued with for the frequent Farshi Rare Readings, through the book Al Durrah Al Farīdah fī sharh Al Qasīdah by Al Muntajib Al Hamadhani (643H).

Objectives of the Research: The research aims to identify the abnormal readings that Al Mutanab Al Hamadhani argued with for the frequent readings, from the beginning of Surat Al Mā'idah to the end of Surat Al Tawbah, and to show the extent of the linguistic and grammatical relationship between the frequent and abnormal readings, and to review Al Hamadhani’s approach to that.

Methodology of the Research: The researcher followed the descriptive analytical method in studying the positions that were counted after the partial extrapolation of the book Al Durrah Al Farīdah by Al Hamadhani, from the beginning of Surat Al Mā'idah to the end of Surat Al Tawbah.
