Abstract

The presented study deals with an extrapolation of the manifestations of scientific activity concerning the science of tajweed and readings in Najd.  A presentation of the scientific signs infer from the reading adopted in the region, and then an introduction to the flags of the reciters and readers in Najd by presenting them in layers, in the period between the twelfth century to the twelfth century Fourteenth Hijri. The study relies on the descriptive and inductive approach in presenting information. The most prominent results of the study are:

The lack of scientific activity related to the science of tajweed and readings after the third century AH due to the lack of sources that record the history in that period. And the existence of its nucleus in the ninth century, and the possibility of its existence after the ninth century, and the emergence of a limited scientific activity in the twelfth century AH. The study relies on the descriptive and inductive approach in presenting the information. The most The emergence of scientific activity by Najdis in the science of recitation and readings from the thirteenth century to the fourteenth century AH, with various manifestations, such as: obtaining licenses in the science of readings, owning and copying manuscripts, classification, and indexing in Najd library coffers.

- The reading according to the narration of Hafs from Asim is the reading adopted in Najd from the twelfth century to the fourteenth century AH; with the presence of reciters who obtained scientific degrees in the science of readings, and studied readings in Najd in the thirteenth century AH and beyond.

-The presence of reciters who teach the Noble Qur’an on the principles of tajweed and recitations, and perfect reciters and memorizers from the twelfth to fourteenth centuries AH.
