Abstract

Studying the meaning of the words of Al-Taraji “May and May” mentioned in the Qur’an regarding the right of God Almighty, a doctrinal study, and a clarification of its interpretation following the belief of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah.

Research aims

  1. Completion of studies in the chapter on the names and attributes of God Almighty.
  2. Discuss this important topic, and root it on the belief of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama`ah.
  3. A statement that the linguistic meanings in the chapter on Attributes of God Almighty are in agreement with the belief of Ahlus-Sunnah Wal-Jama`ah.
  4. Editing the saying regarding the attribution of the meaning of Al-Taraji in the right of God Almighty in the Qur’an.

Research Methodology.

The researcher took the analytical and critical method.  And he collected the material of this research from its perspective on the scientific research method, and attributed the verses in the text by mentioning the name of the surah and the number of the verse.  And he committed to writing it in the Ottoman drawing, and the hadiths came out from their original sources, and their ruling if they were in the wrong, and attributed the words to their owners .

The most important results .

The meaning of Al-Taraji language : to expect something whose occurrence is not trusted except as a matter of doubt.

The expressions of Taraji that came in the Qur’an in relation to God Almighty are two words: “Maybe” and “Maybe.”

If it is mentioned in the Qur’an regarding the right of God Almighty, it will be interpreted into meanings that fit the context of the meaning of the verse, however, God, the Highest, protects him from begging for the perfection of his surrounding knowledge.
