Study Abstract: This study aims at studying the reward differential between the ten recitations; through a comparative analytical study. The study consists of an introduction, preamble, and three chapters according to the inductive comparative analytical approach. The most important results included the following:
- The term “The Ten Recitations” first appeared in the fourth century AH by Al-Imam Ahmad bin Mihran Al-Asbahani, through his three compilations in the Ten Recitations.
- The differential between the ten recitation is divided into two parts:
-General differential: which concerns a specific recitation in general, such as: (The Recitation of Al-Imam Nafe', Abu Amr, 'Asim, and Ibn Katheer).
-Relative differential: that related to the unities of one of the recitation in a place without another, but not in general.
- The matter of differential between the ten recitations, if it does not lead to the denial or weakening of the other recitation, there is nothing wrong with it, except that it is better to not differentiate between them at all.
- Applying the letter's meaning to the alphabetical letter is an accident convention that is not known to be used by the Arabs, and it is likely that the correct meaning, as in the hadith, is the word, but not the alphabetical letter.
