Selling Work Visas: An Applied Jurisprudence Study

Abstract

This research aims to illustrate facts about work visas, documents issued by a competent authority, which enable a person to employ workers under certain conditions for a variety of purposes and to achieve several interests, including preserving the rights of the sponsor and the sponsored, preventing crimes and disorder, and maintaining security. This research also aims to demonstrate the ruling on selling work visas, whether the purpose is for trading or discarding the permit. The author has arrived at the result that the selling of work visas is prohibited.

The research concludes by referring to several statutory regulations, which state that the sale of work visas is prohibited at all costs and a deterrent punishment shall be the consequence of disobedience.
