An illustrative analytical study of the saying of Allah, " Your wives are a place of sowing of seed for you, so come to your place of cultivation however you wish and put forth [righteousness] for yourselves. And fear Allah and know that you will meet Him. And give good tidings to the believers". (Al Baqarah, 223)

Abstract

This research consists of an introduction, preface, seven sections and a conclusion according to the illustrative, analytical and inductive methods.

The preface includes as follows:

- The concept of the analytical exegesis

- The concept of illustrative exegesis

1.  The reason behind the revelation of the Quranic ayah.
2.  The relation between this ayah and the ayah preceded it.
3.  The relation between this ayah and the ayah followed it.
4. The inflection of the Quranic ayah.
5.  Clarifying the total meaning of the Quranic Ayah.
6. The illustrative methods in the Quranic ayah.
7.  The deductions and rulings are taken from the Quranic ayah.

The objectives of the study:

1.  To demonstrate how the Holy Quran paid attention to the rulings related to the relation between the couples in the bed.
2.  To throw light on the rhetorical methods and illustrative funny sayings in the Quranic Ayah.
3.  To clarify the deductions, benefits, and rulings taken from the Quranic ayah.

The conclusion of the study included some results and recommendation to extend the illustrative analytical studies in the Quranic ayahs.
