Abstract

The research subject: Narrations whose authentication is mentioned in the Holy Quran in the form of the utterance "read if you want" in the nine books, study, and analysis.

Objectives of the research: Highlighting the Prophetic approach that the Companions followed in authorizing the narrations from the Holy Quran; knowing the techniques of this approach and its practical applications, and terms used herein.

Research approach: The inductive, analytical, deductive approach.

Prominent findings: the number of these narrations in the nine books is twelve authentic narrations, and only one weak narrationIn some narrations, the Prophet (pbuh) is the one who requested authorizing his narration in the Holy Quran, and in other narrations, it is the Companions who requested, specially Abo Hurairah.

-     The famous phrase used in this method of reasoning "read if you want"

-     Most narrations that used the technique of authorizing from the Holy Quran are narrations related to metaphysics.

Prominent recommendations: the researcher recommends studying all narrations that used the technique of from the Holy Quran; in one book; or a serious academic study; and inducting all the mentioned narrations of this technique and of the other terms.
