Abstract

The issue of (The most specific attribute of ALLAH ) is considered to be from amongst the most important issues of ALLAH's names and attributes and what is attached to  wherein conflict amongst the speculative theologians revolves around.

Some of them deny that there is a most specific attribute of ALLAH, while others have mentioned that most specific attribute of ALLAH, but they differed in specifying it. Some of them have said there is a specific attribute of ALLAH, but it is not known.

Whoever singled out and mentioned this most specific attribute of ALLAH thought that cojoining the creator with the creation in the most specific attribute would result in anthropomorphism.

It is popular amongst the Mutazilites that the most specific attribute of ALLAH is "Ancient" and that is why they denied the attributes of ALLAH because to them it means that we would have countable ancients, that  mean other deities existing with Allah.

A lot of Asharee's are of the opinion that the most specific attribute of ALLAH is His Ability to create; therefore, whoever describes other than Allah with this description. Then, he has become a polytheist and an anthropomorphist.

Other issues of creed are built upon this belief that relate to ALLAH's worship, attributes, decree, miracles and others mentioned in this study.

Finally I clarified in this study what I thought was the most correct opinion concerning this issue. I ask Allah the Almighty for prosperity and correctness and all praise is due to Allah the Lord of the universe.
