This research is entitled: "Additional Warranty for Goods: A Study in Islamic Jurisprudence and Contemporary Legal Systems." It aims to define the terms of the research title, including: the concept of additional warranty for goods, its types, the conditions for its fulfillment, and its ruling. This research also includes a definition of commercial insurance, its ruling, its evidences, and the most prominent jurisprudential differences between commercial insurance and additional warranty for goods.

This study is divided into an introduction, a prelude, two chapters, a conclusion, and indexes.

The introduction introduces the importance of the topic, the reasons for its choice, its objectives, its problem and questions, its limits, its methodology, its procedures, previous studies, and its plan.

The first chapter deals with the concept of additional warranty for goods, its types, the conditions for its fulfillment, and its ruling. The second chapter clarifies commercial insurance and the difference between it and additional warranty for goods.

This is followed by a conclusion that includes the most important results, one of the most prominent of which is that additional warranties for goods fall within the motivational and marketing services that are provided to the buyer on the occasion of obtaining various products and goods in the form of services. There are also many fiqh differences between commercial insurance and additional warranties, whether in terms of concept and reality, or in terms of the legal ruling.

It also includes the most important recommendations, one of the most prominent of which is that all those who work in medical fields must understand the affairs of their religion and ask the scholars of Sharia; in order to stand on the correct legal ruling in the jurisprudential issues that may arise to them.
