Abi Huraira reported correctly: I heard the Prophet -may ALLAH’s prayers and peace be upon him- said: "Whoever sees me while sleeping (in a dream)he has indeed seen me because Satan cannot represent me The later scholars’ views differed regarding the meaning of his saying: “he has indeed seen me.”; there are several sayings: - The dream is true and right, and its interpretation will be achieved.
- That is, it is as if he saw him.
- He will indeed see him on Judgment Day.
- He will indeed see him if he is from his age; or in the hereafter, and he will have a specialized position with him.
He will indeed see him with his eyes, and a group of later - Sufis- scholars said that such as Ibn Abi Jamra, Ibn Al-Hajj, Al-Yafei, Jalal Al-Din Al-Suyuti, Ibn Hajar Al-Haytami, and others.
Therefore, they gave the chance to the innovator of Sufism and the sheikhs of their ways the claim of seeing the Prophet indeed -may ALLAH’s prayers and peace be upon him- and inventing stories and narratives that they had received from the Messenger of God -may God bless him and grant him peace-. Therefore, the research included responses to their claims and suspicions that they claimed and supported their claim that the Messenger -may ALLAH’s prayers and peace be upon him-, is seen indeed after his death.
The researcher favored the view of those who prevented seeing him -may God’s prayers and peace be upon him- indeed after his death.
