Abstract

voluntary work. It is comprised of an introduction, a prelude, two chapters, and a conclusion. The research has been conducted according to the inductive analytical interpretative methodology.

The researcher has shown a strong relationship between voluntary work and Islamic dogma (creed). Thus, Muslims engage in voluntary work starting from basic dogmatic fundamentals. These are: his faith in Allah – The Exalted – and obedience to Him – Glorified is He – and His Messenger – May Allah’s Peace and Blessings be upon him – in addition to Allah’s Divine Names and its influences on the faith and conduct of the Muslim. As well as taking example in the prophets and pious people, the faith in the Hereafter and which has been prepared in it of reward, based on the broad understanding of worship, out of gratefulness for the favors of Allah – The Exalted. Starting from the dogma (creed) of religious brotherhood; as a form of expiation of sins and differing from the disbelievers and hypocrites. And out of gratefulness for the rewards of the congregation (Ummah) of Muhammad and mercy for the Worlds (mankind, jinn, and all that exists).

The dogmatic (creed) effects of voluntary work are: Firstly, the realization of faith in Allah – The Exalted, His Messenger – Allah’s Peace and Blessings be upon Him – and a clear sign of this. Then, the obtainment of Allah’s love, the happiness of the heart and its joy, the softening of the heart and a cure for its hardness, and purification of the souls and its cultivation. And from its effects upon the Muslim society are the increase of feelings of care and love between the Muslims and a means for attaining provision and victory. And from its international effects are: the improvement of the image of Islam worldwide and to put a stance towards the phenomenon of islamophobia. And at last, the ease of difficulties for the volunteer and the achievement of success with Paradise and salvation from the Hellfire.
