Abstract

Since prayer is of great importance, the awakening of the sleeper has the following conditions for its clarification:

If he is not obligated to pray in congregation. Then he must be woken up for prayer when the time is short, and if he is obligated to do the congregational prayer, then he must be woken up to do it

And if he misses the prayer because of his sleep, he must be woken up immediately; unless another present prayer enters. The same applies to the supererogatory prayers that the person is to perform while awake.

As for waking up the sleeper, the person charged with it varies according to his proximity and distance from this sleeper, and it is the duty of the parents and every official, such as the husband or, wife to wake up the people of the house and those under their eyes to perform the obligatory prayer Likewise,   household members other than the parents must wake the sleeper to perform the obligatory prayer, as for non-members. At home and with foreigners, it is desirable to wake them up for others to perform the obligatory prayer before their voluntary time is short. And then, the person suffers from deficiency and may suffer from diseases such as insomnia and tremors when sleeping, which makes it difficult to wake him up to perform the obligatory prayer. Thus, it is clear that it is forbidden.
