Abstract:
Ambiguities in the Qur'an are a topic within the sciences of the Qur'an, and some of these ambiguities relate to time. Since determining these ambiguities relies solely on textual evidence, this study aims to identify the temporal ambiguities in the Qur'an through both the Qur'an and Sunnah across the entire Qur'anic text. The study utilizes the works on Qur'anic ambiguities, conducting a comparative exegetical analysis. To achieve this, the research is divided into an introduction that defines ambiguities and their importance, followed by three chapters: the first focuses on ambiguous days and nights, the second on ambiguous months, and the third on unspecified times. This study emphasizes the presentation of views from both early and later exegetes, weighing their arguments, and clarifying the reasoning behind the preferred interpretations
