Abstract

Abstract:

This study examines the concept of seeking assistance from Allah as presented in the Qur’an, using an objective approach. The researcher begins by defining seeking assistance both linguistically and terminologically, followed by highlighting the distinctions between seeking assistance and related terms. The study then interprets verses that command seeking assistance from Allah, seeking what pleases Him, and verses providing practical examples of seeking His assistance, including the examples of Prophets Jacob and Moses (peace be upon them).

The study concludes with several findings, the most significant of which is the recognition of the importance of the act of seeking assistance as a form of worship emphasized in the Qur’an, along with the command to practice and adhere to it. The study also recommends further research and exploration into this profound act of worship, examining it from different perspectives
