The research aims to measure the condition of Imam lbn Majah in his Sunan regarding the narrators whom he narrated on the authority of Al-Zuhri. To explain how Ibn Majah narrated from them, and to compare this study with the words of Al-Hazmi and lbn Rajab on the condition of lbn Majah. “ To achieve this, the researcher adopted an inductive and analytical approach to reveal Ibn Mājah’s methodology in interpreting these hadiths.

Most of lbn Majah's hadiths come from the companions of al-Zuhri from the first and then the second ranks of narrators.

Those whom lbn Majah cited from the fifth rank are very few and are hardly mentioned
