Abstract:
This research discusses the concept of hubris and its nature. It presents examples of hubris mentioned in the Quran and how the Quran addresses them, along with an explanation of the causes of this hubris.
This research aims to explore the remedies of hubris, guided by the teachings of the Quran, and it adopts a descriptive approach.
This research consisted of an introduction, tow sections, and a conclusion.
The key findings and recommendations are as follows:
2-The causes of hubris varied, including factors such as wealth abundance leading to a sense of self-sufficiency, the presence of a large group of supporters, children, or allies, and the arrogance that may result from excessive knowledge.
3-The hubris of the owner of the two gardens was due to the abundance of wealth and the pride of his followers.
4-The hubris of Qarun was due to his belief that all the goodness in his possession was solely acquired by his knowledge.
The recommendation is to conduct a detailed and comprehensive research on hubris and their remedies in light of what is mentioned in the Quran.
