Rulings Specific to Women in Qunoot prayer
Abstract
This research deals with jurisprudential provisions that are unique to women in "Qunoot" prayer. Men and women are equal in prayer rulings except for a few issues. This research highlights these differences regarding the status of qunoot.
There are provisions specific to women, in Qunoot prayer, regarding raising up hands, the effect of uncovering hands and arms and saying "Ameen", whether in loud or low voice. The research deals with these issues as well as with the ruling of saying "Ameen" for menstruating women during Dua'a.
The study is based on the dispute between jurisprudents on these issues. All their views on these issues are presented and discussed.
