Abstract

The topic of this research stems from the fact that there are some hadiths in Sahih Imam ibn Khuzaymah that were not mentioned in his isnad (chain of transmission) but were mentioned in the form of annotation. They were, however, mentioned within an argument, and as reference.

Thus, what are these hadiths? How many are they? What is the annotation form in which they are mentioned? What are the reasons for which ibn Khuzaymah mentioned them in the form of annotation? What are the categories of al-Mu`allaqat according to ibn Khuzaymah in his Sahih? Who complemented these Mu'allaqat?

The number of hadiths mu’allaq (of interrupted narration) in Sahih Imam ibn Khuzaymah amounted to (22) hadiths. They are divided into two categories: hadiths that were complemented by ibn Khuzaymah himself elsewhere in his book, and hadiths complemented by other imams.
