This study discusses the investigations of al-Imam Al-Dhahabi in his book " Mizan al-I‘tidal " of Hafezh ibn Uday 's book "Al-Kamel fi Dhu‘afa’ Al-Rejal". This study uses the analytic induction method. It is made up of seven sections and a conclusion.
Al-Dhahabi investigations were many and varied, including those related to judging narrators, stating them as weak without argument, or judging hadiths, or related to narrators' scholarly knowledge, or doubting these Hadiths etc. I have studied them objectively, trying to weigh among sayings on the basis of scholarly narrations and primary sources in each domain, to reach the sum up of many of these investigations, showing the right one among them.
