The Rule "Al-Tayaamun (right orientation) in all Matters of Honoring and Adorning is Desirable". A Theoretical Applied Study

Abstract

This research discusses a useful fiqh rule which is that “Al-Tayaamun in matters of honoring and adorning is desirable”, in five sections:

In the first section the researcher explains the meaning of the rule in terms of the lexical meaning of the following words: (“rule”, “al-Tayaamun”, “honoring”, “adorning”, and “desirability”), then he explains the general meaning of the rule.

After that, he presents the words of the rule that were discussed by scholars of Fiqh and Hadith.

In the second section, the researcher shows the attitude of Fiqh scholars towards the rule and its evidence.

In the third section, the researcher states the conditions governing the rule.

In the fourth section, the researcher provides a set of fiqh branches included in al-Tayaamun rule.

The fifth section deals with what is assumed to be the exceptions to the rule.
