Developing a Scientific Criterion to Identify the Islamic Contemporary Issues from the Perspective of Some Experts and Specialists in Islamic Studies in Saudi Universities

Abstract

Scientific criteria gain great importance in the field of specifying sciences features and partial cases, whereas they participate greatly in forming frameworks for knowledge and its data in order to deal with its phenomenon effectively. This study aims to build methodological scientific criterion in order to specify contemporary cases in the field of Contemporary Islamic studies. Building this criterion is based on illustrating the viewpoints of experts and specialists in Islamic studies such as teaching staff in Islamic studies department in the governmental universities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that include department for Islamic studies or one of their branches.

In fact, the study sample individuals were investigated in order to arrange the priorities of scientific dealing of contemporary Islamic cases through using Delphi method for three concessive sessions. Finally, the study introduced a group of statistical results and academic recommendations in addition to specify the scientific criterion in oral version.
