The Impact of Islamic Creed and Contemporary Doctrine Courses at Imam University on Intellectual Immunization (Sabbatical Project)

Abstract

This research paper shows the major role that Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, represented by the Faculty of the Fundamentals of Islam, plays in protecting the thought of male and female students in various majors at the University. The study indicates that the courses of Islamic Creed at the University has made following Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah deep-rooted which leads to protecting the students from foreign thoughts; the University also supports the moderate approach and the concept of moderation in Islam on the basis of the books of the Sunnah.
