The Islamic Da'wah Approach to Protect the Society from the Crime of Adultery

Abstract

Adultery is one of the problems that largely appeared and prevailed among people in the societies these days which resulted in serious troubles. Consequently, some societies have been collapsed which led to unprecedented damage that only Allah knows the extent of. Since prevention is better than cure, I attempted to explain the Islamic approach to the prevention of committing this crime. I also tried to show the role of preachers in spreading the values and principles that people are willing to accept and apply repeatedly by using all possible and legal means that protect societies from adultery. Hopefully, this paper will help in clarifying that this religion is valid for all places and times; and if people followed it, they would be glad in this life and in the hereafter. Following Islam would also guarantee the establishment of an ideal society that people of sound instincts and minds seek. Islam has not left a problem among human beings without clearly and rhetorically providing solutions. Therefore, this study aims to explain the Islamic preventive approach to committing adultery by offering a clear guidance as well as complete and coherent ideas. It also aims to clarify the role of scholars in protecting the society from committing this outrageous crime.
