Abstract

The present study aims at investigating the impact of using cloud computing, namely Google Slides on developing students' skills for producing instructional presentations and providing feedback to the students of Princess Nourah University. The descriptive analytical approach and the experimental approach are used to answer the questions of the study in which 75 students from the Department of Special Education in the Faculty of Education have participated. The study utilizes a number of tools including a list of necessary skills for producing instructional presentations, performance observation card for using Google Slides, and a questionnaire to measure the impact of using cloud computing applications on providing feedback to the students of Princess Nourah University.

The research findings prove the effectiveness of using Google Slides in providing feedback to the students and improving students’ skills for producing instructional presentations due to the possibility these slides offer for appropriate feedback, objective and constructive criticism of students’ instructional presentations.
