The Role of School Managementin Fosteing Citizenship Valuesin Secondary School Female Students

Abstract

The current study aims to investigate the role of school management in fostering citizenship values in secondary school female students. This is done through the basic practices of the school principal, which are planning, guidance and monitoring. The study sample consists of 484 participants; 220 female teachers and 264 female students, The results show that aproportion of not less than 60% of the study sample agrees that the school management  has a role in fostering of citizenship values among secondary school female students. There are statistically significant differences at the level of 0.01 between the points of views of female teachers and students about the roles of school management in fostering citizenship values among secondary school female students, in favor of the points of views of teachers.
