In the last decade of the 20th century, gender dysphoria was one of the most serious forms of identity disorders with a fourfold increase of the proportion of people experiencing gender dysphoria. Therefore, the current study aimed to discover the ability of predicting gender dysphoria by the following factors; parenting styles, body image perception and peer group. A total of 237 female undergraduates have been randomly chosen and then agreed to participate in the study using these tools; Parental Styles Scale, Body Image Perception Scale and Peer Group Scale. The results revealed that parental styles, body image perception, and peer group can interpret (35.8) of the variance, while (64.2) of the variance can be interpreted by employing other factors not included in the present study. Recommendations: carrying out more studies with new possible factors that may contribute to this disorder is strongly recommended.
