Abstract

This study is concerned with the dimensions of citizenship and the foundations that the Prophet (may Allah’s blessings be upon him) sought to establish in the society of the Medina after emigration to Medina . The Prophet was able to face the atmosphere of cultural diversity in civil society by the conclusion of a treaty among the communities of that society, later called "Medina Charter", and the consequences of  citizenship foundations which were a key factor in achieving the security of the Islamic state; both internally and externally.
