Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between family factors and academic achievement of Saudi university married female students. The social survey system (sampling) was carried out through observation and questioner. The non-randomized sample was applied intentionally with (85) married female students. The study results indicated the following: There is positive relationship between students housing nature and academic achievement. The same relation was existed between her husband educational level and its academic achievement, particularly when he is more aware with his wife’s study and support her academic achievement and sharing to solve problems and obstacles encountered her way. There is negative relationship between rearing kids and their number and university academic achievement in response to her absence for her small old child and illness and other contingencies. There was positive relationship between having house maid and university academic achievement of the married university female student. This positive relation was attributed for the maid support for the house work kids rearing, cocking, house arrangements and focusing on lecturing. In addition there is positive relationship between her husband support and her academic achievement when there is no more husbandry and family duties within examination period and giving more hands for kids schooling preparation.
